My friend slept over and on the couch and woke up with bites on his neck, later that night he saw a little bug! Im sure this is a bed bug I washed all the bedding from the pullout couch but Im sure thats not helping the actual couch, its leather with a mattress inside, do I need to throw it away or is there a solution for this?

No don’t throw it away. At least attempt to rid it of bed bugs. Do a little internet research or better yet call a professional exterminator and ask them what to do. Your couch may require a professional treatment because I have heard that bed bugs are difficult to get rid of. I have heard they can actually burrow into the bedding and lay eggs. Good luck.
