How effective is rubbing alcohol against bed bugs?

I’ve heard many times that rubbing alcohol can be used to kill bed bugs but how effective is it?

Auditore da Firenze May 8, 2010 at 4:48 pm: There are only two ways to get rid of bed bugs: fire or ice. Since you probably don’t want to set all your stuff on fire, you should hire some experts. They come in and spray down your entire place with dry ice. This freezes and kills the bed bugs without any harmful effects to your family or your stuff.
